These Terms of Use apply to FabulousShadesof50.com and its pages, articles, forms, photographs, participant stories, and related content. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit information through its forms.
2. Website purpose
Fabulous Shades of 50 is a signature portrait experience and editorial project by Marilyn Wilson Photography. The website celebrates women over 50 through portraits, stories, reflection, style, confidence, and information about the photography experience.
Journal articles and other website materials are provided for general information and encouragement. They are not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
3. Inquiries, consultations, pricing, and bookings
Submitting an inquiry does not create a photography contract, reserve a date, guarantee availability, or obligate either party to proceed. Services, availability, session fees, collection pricing, taxes, deliverables, payment terms, rescheduling terms, usage permissions, and other details will be confirmed during consultation and in a separate written agreement when applicable.
Website information and starting prices may be updated. A written proposal or photography agreement controls if it differs from general information displayed on the website.
4. Photographs, writing, and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, branding, original articles, graphics, and photographs are owned by or licensed to Marilyn Wilson Photography, Fabulous Shades of 50, or the identified contributor. They are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
You may view the website for personal, noncommercial use and share links to its public pages. You may not download, copy, reproduce, modify, publish, sell, train an artificial-intelligence system with, remove credits from, or commercially use website content without prior written permission from the appropriate rights holder.
5. Participant stories and personal words
The women featured on the website retain the rights they hold in their personal stories, quotations, and contributed words. Their words may not be copied, republished, altered, or used commercially without appropriate permission.
Portraits and stories are presented to honor each participant. Visitors may not use them to harass, impersonate, exploit, misrepresent, ridicule, or create misleading content about a participant.
6. Your story submissions
You retain ownership of the original story and words you submit. By submitting a story, you give Marilyn limited permission to receive, store, review, and contact you about it. Submission alone does not give permission to publish the story publicly.
If Marilyn would like to feature your submission, she will contact you and obtain final approval before publication. You represent that the material you submit is yours to share, is truthful to the best of your knowledge, and does not unlawfully violate another person’s privacy, copyright, confidentiality, or other rights.
Please do not submit confidential records, private information about another person without permission, unlawful material, or highly sensitive financial, medical, identity, or account information.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or harmful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, forms, accounts, servers, or information.
- Introduce malware, automated attacks, excessive requests, or other technology that interferes with website operation.
