I want women to recognize themselves again.
Fabulous Shades of 50 grew from a simple belief: women do not become less visible, less beautiful, or less significant with age.
Why I created Fabulous Shades of 50
The woman herself is an important moment.
I have photographed women with different histories, responsibilities, dreams, personalities, and ways of moving through the world. What they share is a desire to feel seen as the whole women they are now.
A portrait can be beautiful, but it can also be evidence. It can say: I am still here. I still matter. I am still capable of becoming, contributing, loving, creating, leading, laughing, and surprising myself.
That is what I want every woman to experience in front of my camera. Not pressure to perform. Not pressure to look younger. A thoughtful day in which she is cared for, guided, and reflected back to herself with honesty and respect.
