“Strive to be the best you can be and to do the best you can do”.
“Phase One” of my life shaped and motivated me. I am fortunate to have had the chance to explore many opportunities early in life that influenced me as an adult. Rearing my children, and watching them grow and mature has given me immeasurable joy and satisfaction. Having lived in and experienced careers in two different states broadened my views of life and allowed me to gain valuable lessons from diverse people and environments. Lessons learned during this time gave me direction for my future.
I am now fully immersed in my “Phase Two.” Retirement has brought a reorganization of life’s priorities, and presented time and opportunities to travel and explore new activities. And I now have time to truly enjoy my legacies…my children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and extended family! The glue that has bound together all the pieces of who I am has always been my Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ. Deeply embedded in me from childhood, my religious principles and teachings have sustained me throughout every phase of my life. I am extremely fortunate to have been able to realize my passion to implant those principles in the lives of new generations of youth for over 30 years. I thank God and praise for His goodness and mercies, and for blessing me to believe I am still “young” enough to make a difference.
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:17
